From Bangalore, we had an 8-hour layover in Dubai.
Dubai International Airport was the most gorgeous airport I’d seen (compare it with Paris CDG and one could cry).
KLIA is bigger of course, but DIA’s intricate details will make you gap.
Luckily for us, Mimi’s sister and her family happened to live in Dubai. So yay, free tour!
First stop was Al-Jumeirah beach where we could view the keychain up close.
Burj Al Arab; the second tallest hotel in the world.
Which we nicknamed keychain, lol.
“Look look! It’s keychain!”
Believe it or not, this was just the entrance to a hotel. Which hotel, I forgot. These Arab names are all so complicated 😛
Mimi and her one and only sister. Awww~
Meet Elyas peeps! He’s Mimi’s nephew. I can pass you the phone and she’ll talk non-stop about him lol.
My discovery in the souk: They have Cinnabon! Which cost like RM 11 each T__T
But the stomach wants what the stomach wants *sighs*
Guess what we’re so painstakingly tried to capture?
Burj Al-Khalifa; the tallest building in the world.
What’s with these Arabs and tall buldings??
This is in Dubai Mall. They have a huge-ass aquarium covering one wall. Got sting rays and all wth.
In case you’re wondering, this man-made waterfall is also inside the mall.
I would love this shop even if I didn’t like candies!
Miri goes international! 😀
Lepas tu kenyang tak ingat dunia hueh.
With this, I’d like to express our gratitude to Mimi’s sister for bringing us around and treating us to lunch. Super nice!
And that people, ended our day in Dubai 🙂
Back to the airport and then it’s 6 hours journey to Paris!
