Kak Sha and I left early again coz we were starving. I love how one could just call up the phone booth and tadaaa, 2 minutes later the autos arrived.

Yuyun brought us to Fish Max for lunch. Apparently it’s a really good seafood restaurant. Being in India for some time now taught me not to have much expectation. BUT THIS RESTAURANT WAS LOWER THAN MY LOWEST EXPECTATION.

Presenting,

I’m not really picky. You ajak makan tepi jalan pun I sanggup BUT THIS PLACE SERIOUS MACAM RUMAH BERHANTU. Gloomy and all that. Thank God it opened at 12.30 pm and we had to find another option.

Nearing the island, we switched to a much smaller boat.

Arrived.

While everyone rushed for the beach on the other side, Pija and I decided to do some climbing instead. Although I’m a Mirian (Miri has a lot of beaches), I don’t have much passion for beaches.

Budak-budak buat kerja setengah jalan. Pastu diorg patah balik. Hueh. There’s actually an easier flat path, but we’re not telling them 😉

After much climbing, we arrived at the peak >_<

The view was, of course, gorgeous.

We made our way further down because there were some locals who got there as well to celebrate their friend’s birthday. Kacau betul.

Those are not sands. They’re shells ^_^ Walking on them barefoot gave a nice stabbing feel.

Hopped back onto the boat. And the locals decided to dance to beats of the songs =_= Dah la sesak and smelled of sweat. Hmmph.

Arrived back at the the hotel around 6.30 pm, rushed packing and all and got ready for dinner at 7.30 pm at Manipal Canteen.

We ate lots of crabs and prawns and squids and GUESS WHAT? The price only came to Rs 100 each. That’s not even RM 10!!! Damn cheap. Felt like going to the counter and insisted on asking them to raise the price =___=

9 pm on the dot (what, you think we all so punctual ah? Supposed to leave at 8.30 pm ok), the bus left for Bangalore.

Suprisingly, after hearing lots of stories about Manipal being a kampung and all, I found myself liking that place. It does have a village feel to it. Everything is kindda in the center, there are less pollution, no asap debu and all, not much littering. It’s easy to find Malaysian food and seafood- cheap summore. The autos need no arguing and they’re also cheaper, go everywhere pun it’s only Rs 15. Senang hidup.

BUT.

There’s always a but ladies and gentleman 😉

The weather is too humid for my liking and I still prefer Bangalore shopping malls and streets.

But I won’t say no to a second trip ^_^

Ok, that’s it. THE END. Bye bye.
